AASHTO meaning is the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials. It was established in 1914 as a non-governmental organization in the United States of America. The role and the task of this organization in the country as the standard-setting body which publishes test protocols, specifications, and guidelines that are used in highway design and construction. It is working in various capacities instead of highways only but also working for public transport, rail, waterways, and air transport facilities.
