DNA Full Form is Deoxyribonucleic Acid

Deoxyribonucleic acid is a complex molecule found in all living cells. It has many genetic instructions saved regarding the growth, functioning, and reproduction of all known organisms. All these instructions passed on from one generation to the next generation. DNA and RNA (Ribonucleic acid) are nucleic acids that contain proteins, lipids, and complex carbohydrates. Nucleic acids are one of the four main types of macromolecules that are necessary for living lives. DNA is also called the blueprint of an organism.

DNA is used in many ways and well-known use of DNA is DNA profiling or DNA fingerprints. In case of any incident like crime or accident DNA profiling is used to identify the identity by matching with DNA database or relatives of accused in case of crime. In case of an accident, DNA profiling is matched with relatives of victims who are found unidentified. A forensic scientist can get DNA samples like hair, skin, blood, semen, and saliva. DNA also has storage potential more than electronic devices but due to various issues, it can’t be used.
