IELTS Full Form is the International English Language Testing System
IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System. It is the English language examination to monitor the English language ability of any person. This test is accepted by many educational institutions and immigration authorities in different English-speaking countries in the world like Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the UK.
Anyone can attend this examination after 12th grade. There are two types of IELTS examinations one is academics and the second is general training. This test is based on four papers reading, writing, speaking, and listening. The result of this examination is based from 1.0 to 9.0 and 1.0 is the lowest score and 9.0 is the highest score. Four papers reading, writing, speaking and listening marked individuals in the same marking bands.
A passport copy is required to submit at the time of the IELTS test application. After this, all candidates bring the original passport at the time of examination for each paper. If any candidate does not bring the original passport at the time of examination then they are not allowed to enter the examination hall.
Candidates can attend the IELTS examination as many times as they like. But the IELTS Test Report Form is valid for two years and candidates can resit for examination at any time.
