Million Short Form
1 Million is equal to 1000 x 1000 = 1,000,000. In Latin 1000 is equal to Mille so that in financial terms “MM” is referred to Million.
“mm” is equal to millimeter so it should not be confused with “MM”. It can also be abbreviated as “mil”. In terms of data transfer, 1 MB is equal to MegaBytes. Mega is also the prefix of Million.
1 Million short form is also Mio.
