OECD meaning is Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. In the French language its called Organisation de Coopération et de Développement Économiques. It was established in 1948 as an intergovernmental organization and headquartered in rue André Pascal, Paris, France 75016. OECD has 37 member states and its official language is English and French. It is an economic organization and it is not empowered to impose its decision on any government. Before 1961 it was Organisation for European Economic Co-operation (OEEC) and in 1961 it was reformed and become OECD.
