SEBI Full Form is Securities and Exchange Board of India
SEBI meaning is the Securities and Exchange Board of India. It is the regulatory authority in India regarding the securities and commodity market and this agency is owned by the government of India. This agency was established in 1988 under the SEBI act and its headquarters is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The SEBI is managed by its following members:
- The chairman appointed by the Union Government of India
- One member from the Reserve Bank of India.
- Two members, i.e., Officers from the Union Finance Ministry.
- The other five members are nominated by the Union Government of India, out of them at least three shall be whole-time members.
